Cissi

Every once in a while you come across them, the unpolished gems just waiting to dazzle the world. Cissi is one of those, with a presence as penetrating as her soulful voice... Watch this space...

Road Tripping with the HSBC

So time for the Business Thinking to get on the road again. This time round I mamaged to squeeze in Belfast, London, Cardiff, Bristol and a few more obscure places round the UK over a 2 week period. As per usual the events involved a whole lot of heated discussions and some good pointers for how to take your business forward.

Anders Jacobsson

Anders jacobsson is a much loved Swedish childrens books author, where his most famous invented characters Sune and Bert both have been turned into feature movies.

I shot these pictures of Anders last fall in relation with the book launch of his debut novel. He has grown up in deed...

Beak Boots, a geisha and a £1 umbrella

Gotta hand it to my fabulous friends. At around 5 pm on monday evening I decided doing a wee Geisha shoot the following morning would be a great idea, being spring and all… (no point beating around the bush, is it?) Said and done, I made a bunch of phone calls and got the fabulous Madde, Tasma, Kajsa, Natalie and Josefine involved. Those lovely ladies turned up at 7 the following morning and all worked their butts off just to make it happen. Put those amazing women in charge of the world it’ll be a much prettier and better place no doubt. They can make most things happen with only a few seconds notice. Lovely stuff!

Thanks to Cornelia at House of Dagmar for sorting me out with a dress worthy of a queen, and Helena at Beak Boots for being generally amazing. And thank you to the bloke at the auction who sold me the umbrella for a mere  quid.

Managing Director Egiva

So, this will be the start of my commercial blog. We'll have to watch this space to see how frequent I'll be here but well worth a shot. Hopefully someone will check it out :0)

Did this job of Michael Töråsen - managing director of Egiva a couple of week ago. It worked out quite well I think. The trick with corporate photography is to stray as far from corporate one possibly can. Just because you work in an office doesn't mean you're boring, so why should the pictures reflect that?

I think it was quite successful. What do you think?
